Professor John C.K. Lee, Editor-in-Chief

Professor John Chi-Kin Lee appointed as Editor-in-Chief of Cogent Education.

Professor Lee is Vice President (Academic) and Chair Professor of Curriculum and Instruction at the Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd). He is also Co-Director of the Centre for Small Class Teaching (CSCT) and Co-Director of Centre for Education in Environmental Sustainability (CEES).

In addition, Professor Lee was Visiting Scholar in Teachers College, Columbia University (USA) and the University of Cambridge (UK) and has held visiting professorships at numerous overseas universities such as National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and RMIT University (Australia) as well as over twenty guest/adjunct professorships in Mainland China.

A renowned scholar with research interests focused on curriculum and instruction, geographical and environmental education, teacher education and school improvement in Asian and Chinese communities. Professor Lee is a prolific writer having edited and written 20 books and published over 150 journal articles and book chapters.
